Rainbow cake


Assalamualaikum wbt..
finally i got the mood to update the blog again..
punyalah lama tuan tanah x peduli ..nasib baik boleh sign in lagi..
kengkawan pon mesti dah lupa kewujudan blog ni..kan..
never mind..kita pelan2 kayuh lepas ni..
dah lama x buat kek..x lupa camana nk frost kek...turn table pon macam dah xleh pusing dah..
so jadi mcm budak baru belajar ..banyak kena study balik..
anyway..memandangkan demam rainbow cake ni tengah hebat melanda bakers..i pon tringin nk try..tp bila google semuanya guna white cake recipe..pakai egg white je...i maleh nk pening2 apa nk buat ngan egg yolk tu..so i try pakai resepi butter cake biasa..bole gitu?
frosting pon ngan butter cream biasa...blom blajo wat italian butter cream...




buat kek ni utk birthday anak no 2..Imran..



masa potong kek tu..semua cam 'wahhhhhh..' sbb x penah tgk kek so colourful cam tu....

simple fondan cake for hantaran

Salam..
ni kek utk hantaran bertunang...tema kaler maroon..aceli dia nk kek blueberry yg biasa buat tu..tp memandangkan kek ni nk dibawak k ipoh..nk dibuat hanataran lak...mau cayor plak fresh cream tu nanti..LOL

so i buatkan kek coklat kukus ngan filling blueberry dan difondankan kek itu agar ia tahan suhu yg x tentu hala gitu....

the red wedding

Assalamualaikum wbt..
still in the mood of red...in fact i'm wearing red shirt now!
ok..this is my first stacked fondant wedding cake...mmg challengging..study dulu kt youtube..baru pelan2 kayuh..huhu
design ni bakal pengantin bg lama dah..dia tgk kt buku mn ntah..tp i dh adjust here n there...kalo sama pon maybe 60% je...so kredit to the owner ye..

tgk figurin tu...gemok,gebus....dh try buat slim sikit..tp x mau jd la..dh tukang buatnya pon cam tu..hahahah

kapkek kliling kek tu saja2 tambah bagi meriah..nk cr ros xde le plak..ater CNY kan...mn ada nyonya jual munge dah...lenkali bli awai2 tau!(psnn utk diri sendiri)

here comes the red velvet...

salam...
just wanna share with you all friend about this red thing!!
this is actually my 2nd attemp on red velvet..fes one buat cupcake minus the cream cheese..
this one really the complete version..muahahaha

well...got this recipe frm Edina@cakeworm...edina got this from Rima@Bious A Toi

Ingredients
1 1/4 cup sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp red colouring
1/4 cup soft unsalted butter (about 50g)
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup buttermilk (I used 1/2 cup low fat milk plus a few drops vinegar)
1/2 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp baking soda
Method1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
2. In one container, sieve flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
3. In a small container, combine cocoa powder and red coloring and stir well until form a paste. It's ok to add a little water in case it's too sticky.
3. Using a mixer, beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg, beat until blended.
Add vanilla extract and cocoa powder mixture, beat until well blended
4. Add in sifted flour and buttermilk alternately.
Beginning and ending with flour. (F-M-F-M-F)5.
In a small bowl, combine vinegar and baking soda and add it to ur batter.
Stir well with a spatula. Pour into a 6" baking pan and bake it for 50mins or until cooked.
6. Let cool on wire rack.
( note; i ayak tepung baking powder n koko..derhaka sikit..)
Ok...yg kt bwh ni je yg tinggal..after left 24 hours...cantik sikit le bila dipotong...yg 2 piccs kt atas tu ..sbb x sabo sgt nk mkn...lepas frost terus potong..mmg le tak cantik kan?
